4 children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years were killed in the fire that broke out early this morning in Novi Pazar, the largest city in the Senjak region, where Bosnians in Serbia have a high population density.
The statement issued by the Serbian Ministry of Interior stated that the firefighters went to the scene immediately, and when they entered the building that was already covered by the fires, they found 4 children who had lost their lives, most likely due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
It was also reported that the mother and father were rescued injured in the fire.
Šifket Hajrovic, head of the general surgery department at Novi Pazar Hospital, indicated that the father, who sustained burns to 50 percent of his body and damaged his respiratory system, was sent to Belgrade, while the mother suffered light burns. Forehead and hands, it will be performed in the hospital in Novi Pazar.
