6 adventure films, two of which are Bulgarian, will be screened at the “Days of Challenges” film festival to be held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
According to BTA news, the festival, which will take place on February 1-2 at the Lumiere cinema in Sofia, will feature runner Petar Ivanov, who has climbed the peaks of 4 mountains in Bulgaria in less than 24 hours, and a mountain biker. Tsvetan Ivanov titled “Passion Peaks 4” will show the film.
Another Bulgarian film that will be screened at the festival will be “Electricity Street”.
French mountain guide Thierry Reynaud is expected to give a speech at the event where 6 adventure films focusing on mountain safety will be screened.
The Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds will present its project on the protection of different species threatened by agricultural activities in Mount Sakar in southeastern Bulgaria.
The festival will also pay tribute to the Bulgarian zoologist and mountaineer Bojan Petrov. Petrov disappeared in the Himalayas on May 3, 2018.
