The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) stated that 18,991 people lost their lives, 75,523 people were injured, and 81,415 people were evacuated from the region as of 15.30 in the earthquakes centering on Kahramanmaras.
According to the statement issued by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, 1,604 aftershocks occurred after the earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6 were centered in the Pazarciyek and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaraş.
The loss of life in the provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Adana, Adiyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and Elazig amounted to 18991. 75 thousand 523 people were injured in the earthquakes. 81,415 survivors have been evacuated from the provinces affected by the earthquake.
30348 search and rescue personnel from AFAD, PAK, JAK, JÖAK, DİSAK, Coast Guard, DAK, Güven, Fire and Rescue Brigade, MEB, NGOs and international teams work in the region.
The number of search and rescue personnel from other countries reached 6,810.

With the number of field staff recruited from Disaster and Emergency Management, Police, Gendarmerie, MSB, UMKE, Ambulance Teams, Volunteers, Local Security and Local Support Teams, the number of staff in the district is 141,779.
12 thousand 244 vehicles, mostly excavators, cranes, bulldozers, trucks, water trucks, trailers, graders, dump trucks and similar construction equipment, were shipped to the disaster area.
