Balkans | Aid campaign from Bosnia and Herzegovina for aid organizations to Turkey

Relief organizations operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina launched a relief campaign for the people of Turkey and Syria due to the earthquake that struck Kahramanmaraş.

MercyThe statement issued by the charity stated that the campaign will run from February 6 to May 6, by making phone calls from Bosnia and Herzegovina and sending money to both the local and foreign bank accounts of the association.

The statement said that those who live in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), one of the two entities in BiH, can also contribute to the campaign through donation boxes.

In the statement made by Pomozi.ba, which emphasized that Turkey is a country strong enough to face one of the biggest earthquakes in the past 100 years alone, “we would like to take this opportunity to help Turkey from Bosnia and Herzegovina, even if it is symbolic.”

Noting that Pomozi.ba is an organization registered in Turkey, the statement stated that the aid collected will be delivered to the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria through the office in Turkey.

In the statement made by the Emwas Forum for International Solidarity, it was indicated that search and rescue efforts are still continuing, “Unfortunately, the loss of life will increase during the day. We call on people of goodwill, associations, official and unofficial organizations, companies and institutes to help the Turkish people.” Data included.
