The Presidency of the Islamic Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina called on the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to support Turkey after the special session.
The Messenger of the Scholars, Husayn Kavazovic, said: “Our brothers in Turkey are going through a terrible tragedy. We are terrified and cannot express the scale of the tragedy in words. We wish God’s help to those affected by the earthquake and offer our sincere condolences to our brothers and sisters who lost their loved ones. Rescue work continues. The Islamic Union and the Bosnians will start an aid campaign, as they have always done until now, and show their solidarity with love and pain sharing in this way.
He made it clear that the Islamic Union will launch a humanitarian aid campaign within the framework of its capabilities and provide all kinds of aid and support, and called on the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to support the mobilization of aid. Kavazović said that the unprecedented tragedy in Turkey shook everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and said, “We have to stand by the Turkish people in these difficult times, share their pain, show our love and help fraternally.”
Humanitarian organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina Merhamet and Pomozi.ba also launched campaigns to help those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
