Balkans | Aid mobilization for earthquake victims in Turkey has begun in Western Thrace

After the earthquakes in the motherland Turkey, the Western Thrace Turkic Minority Advisory Council launched an aid campaign.

In the statement made by the Advisory Council of the Western Minority in Turkish Thrace, it was stated that materials, goods, clothing and food aid would be collected.

“As a Western Thrace Turkish minority, the news of the great earthquake that occurred in the Pazardik district of Kahramanmaraş province in the motherland of Turkey and also affected the provinces of Kilis, Diyarbakir, Adana, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adiyaman, Malatya and Hatay also shook us deeply.

As the advisory council of the western minority in Turkish Thrace, we have decided to start an aid campaign in order to share the pain of our brothers and show that we stand by them in these difficult days.

Within the framework of the aid campaign initiated by the Advisory Council of Western Turkish Minorities in Thrace, financial aid will be collected to be delivered to the earthquake victims in the motherland Turkey, through the councils of trustees and imams in the villages;
