The freezing of prices for key press items is an indication that they really care about everyone, said Vatmir Potucci, Deputy Prime Minister for the Economy of North Macedonia.
Fatmir Potucci, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the economy, said, “Although freezing prices is an unpopular measure, it is very important for the citizens of our country, and it is an additional indication that we really care about everyone even in times of crisis.”
He states that after imposing a cap on the prices of some basic products, Bucci followed up his words as follows:
“However, after enjoying these benefits for a longer period of time and, perhaps more importantly, after a longer period of decline in the prices of inputs other than electricity in this sector, retail prices for these products have remained unchanged at their highest levels in the past year. We, as a government, had to take action. Various measures to protect the level of our citizens.
