The European Union’s foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, said Kosovo and Serbia had reached an agreement on missing persons.
Borrell shared on his social media account that the chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia have reached an agreement on the text of the statement regarding missing persons in Brussels yesterday.
Borrell shared, “The agreement that the principal negotiators reached on the text of the statement regarding missing persons at yesterday’s meeting is the first step. We will accept it at the level of leaders at the next high-level meeting.”
In his statement after yesterday’s meeting, Serbian chief negotiator Petar Petkovic stated that they agreed on the text of the statement on the missing and said, “I would like to confirm that we pay attention to all articles and that we do not accept the coercive detention clause in the international agreement.”
