Bakir Izetbegović, chairman of the Democratic Action Party (SDA), the largest Bosnian party in BiH, spoke on the phone with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Izetbegovic said, in a short statement on his social media account, that the meeting came with the catastrophe of the devastating earthquake that occurred in Turkey, expressing his condolences to the Turkish people, President Erdogan and those who lost their relatives in the earthquake.
President Erdoğan reportedly thanked the search and rescue teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina for their extensive efforts in pulling survivors from the rubble and thanked the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina for mobilizing aid for the earthquake victims.
