Balkans | Bosnian Serb leader Dodik announced that he would not implement High Representative Schmidt’s decisions

Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, one of the two entities in BiH, opposed High Representative Christian Schmidt’s decision to annul, and said that decisions made in the entity’s council would remain valid.

At the ceremony he attended, Dodik evaluated Schmidt’s annulment of the decisions made in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NSRS) that the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina would not be considered valid in the territory of the entity and that the decisions of the High Representative were not published in the official gazette of the entity.

Sharply criticizing Schmidt’s decision, Dudek said, “What does this mean now? If I don’t implement the decision, they will take me into custody and hand me over to a Muslim public prosecutor. He will hand me over to a Muslim judge who will sentence me to prison. These decisions will not be overturned. We will implement them, let’s see what happens?” Phrase.

Dodik continued his separatist rhetoric

Stating that the decisions adopted by a majority vote in the NSRS will come into force, Dodik said, “We will strengthen our institutions. We will announce that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Search and Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (SIPA) also have no jurisdiction in the Republic of Serbia We will strengthen the Republika Srpska police force.” He said.

Dodik said: “I don’t expect them to attack us with their armed forces, but if something like that happens, we will not resist. If we kneel now and are not determined, we will go in 10 years. If we are brave and strong, we will survive. I have to protect these people and I will go to the end.” .I don’t have any other choice.” He rated it.

Evaluating Schmidt’s decision, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in a statement to Serbian media that he was concerned about what happened in Republika Srpska, and said, “I spoke to Dodik yesterday. I think foreigners made a very tough decision. We’ll see.” He said.

High Representative Schmidt, using his powers in Bonn, announced yesterday that the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina taken in the NSRS last week are not considered valid on the territory of the entity and that the decisions of the High Representative will not be valid. It shall be published in the official gazette of the entity and shall not be enforceable.
