The two political movements that came first and second in Bulgaria’s early parliamentary elections on April 2 are on a Euro-Atlantic government as the party of former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and the Alliance for Continued Change-Bulgarian Democracy (PP-DB) met on Thursday. You can agree.
With GERB winning the recent elections without having enough strength to form its parliamentary majority on its own, it must find allies to form a coalition.
The pro-European movement PP-DB is determined not to join the GERB, a government composed of ministers appointed by Boyko Borisov.
The Tryp party, which won the election by less than 2 percent, will be tasked with forming the government, and the People’s Party-DB wants to know who will be proposed for prime minister and ministerial posts to assess whether they will support the new government.
GERB has given PP-DB until Sunday to explain its recommendations.
On Thursday morning, PP-DB’s Andrey Gyurov announced that the political movement had not accepted the ultimatum of the Gerb.
On the other hand, Borisov explained that his party did not give an ultimatum and that his patience was not “unlimited” and stated that the government’s program is more important than the government’s structure.
