Balkans | Chairman of the Balkan Migration Party BAL calls for a vote in the Bulgarian elections

Balkan Immigrants Association for Culture and Solidarity (BAL-GÖÇ) Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. doctor. In his statement before the parliamentary elections that will be held in Bulgaria on April 2, Emin Balkan stated that polls have been opened in 62 countries except Bulgaria, and said: “This is Turkey, which has the largest number of voters in 62 countries. There are nearly 300,000 citizens Bulgarians in Turkey have the right to vote. This number is more than 72 thousand in Bursa. More than a million Turkish and Muslim brothers and sisters live in Bulgaria. Let them be politically active and strong there too. We need to show our unity and strength by voting for the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, No. 13 on the electoral ballot.

After the early parliamentary elections held in Bulgaria on October 2, 2022, 7 political parties that crossed the 4 percent threshold entered the country’s 48th Parliament with 240 members. When these parties failed to form a coalition government, President Rumin Radev announced that the 48th Parliament would be dissolved and a new snap general election would be held on 2 April. Voters in Bulgaria are going to the polls for the fifth time in the past two years, with elections to be held on April 2. About 300,000 Bulgarians will vote in the elections in Türkiye.

We need to give more importance to the ballot box.

He stated that ballot boxes were opened in 62 countries, with the exception of Bulgaria, in the elections. doctor. Emin Balkan said: “The parliamentary elections will be repeated in Bulgaria for the fifth time in two years. In the last four elections, they could not delegate a party to come to power in parliament by arithmetic mean. When the coalition became polarized, they could not come together. Almost all parties The politicians have prejudices. They are also far from forming an alliance with the Turkey-dominated movement for rights and freedoms. After this process, we enter the elections.

According to Bulgarian law, citizens of other countries can also vote. Excluding Bulgaria, polls have been opened in 62 countries. Turkey, which has the largest number of voters in these 62 countries. When we look at the voters in Turkey, there are approximately 300,000 Bulgarian citizens who have the right to vote. This figure is more than 72 thousand in Bursa. In this process, we hope that this crisis in Bulgaria will be resolved as soon as possible. More than a million Turkish and Muslim brothers and sisters live in Bulgaria. Let them be politically active and powerful there too. The provision for this passes through the ballot box. Then we need to pay more attention to the ballot box. The elections will be held on Sunday. Votes can be cast from 7 am to 8 pm.

Electronic voting

The Balkans indicated that the majority will vote by the electronic system in the elections, and it can be used manually in polling stations where the number of voters is low, but the electronic system is more fluent. In the past month, petitions have been filled to open ballot boxes and voter lists. When our citizens go to the ballot box where these petitions are filled out, if they easily see themselves on the list, they will be able to vote without filling out the form, but our citizens who do not fill out the petition on the Internet will be. They are able to vote in any ballot box upon presentation of their Bulgarian ID. You will need to fill out a form before using it. Since the Bulgarian language for our compatriots living here is not enough, we assigned our Bulgarian-speaking friends to each constituency. There we will help voters to fill out these forms in Bulgarian. They will be able to use the game after they enter and submit the form.”

Number 13 we need to feel each other

Calling on Bulgarian citizens residing in Türkiye to go to the polls, Prof. Dr. doctor. Emin Balkan continued his words as follows: “Political parties in Bulgaria refrain from expressing even the Turkish minority. Turks have their own problems and expectations. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to find the majority that can solve it. Many voters living in Turkey also have their own problems in Bulgaria. They are waiting for a solution. As an NGO, we are intermediaries.

The other parties in the Bulgarian Parliament, which have been insensitive until now, are not very warm to us, but the fact that some of our friends are sometimes fragile and resentful towards the rights and freedoms in this electoral field prompts them to search, while the representatives of the Bulgarian parties, who are insincere towards us They are in Turkey and Bursa, and they also went to search for voters, but we know that they were not optimistic about the Turkish minority in their party politics. We know that the party’s politics will not change, with 1-2 Turkish candidates on their lists. Because they do not have this sincerity. That is why we need to focus all our strength in one place and show our strength. We need to show our unity and strength by voting for the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, which is 13th on the electoral ballot. In the last elections, 36 deputies were elected. Now, if we can get past 40, we have a very high chance of participating in the coalition government that will be formed after the April 2 elections. Our citizens should be sensitive to the elections. We need to feel our cooperation with the Rank 13 without getting angry, insulted or biased.”
