It was said that the general elections in Greece would not take place before April.
In the news reported by Greek media based on government sources, it was said that Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will stick to his promise to hold general elections once his four-year term ends.
At the meeting in the Prime Ministry today, while discussing the government’s 2023 program, Mitsotakis is said to have indicated the end of April to hold the general elections.
The last general elections in Greece took place on July 7, 2019, bringing the New Democracy party to power alone.
General elections are expected to be held every four years.
