The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that the draft statute of the Federation of Serbian Municipalities presented by the Serbian side in Brussels contradicts the constitution and the rights of minorities.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti made a statement after meeting Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Brussels within the framework of the dialogue.
At the meeting, we listened patiently and intently to the management team, which submitted a draft regulation with a total of 67 articles, following the Missing Persons Convention. The draft statute of the Federation of Serbian Municipalities submitted by the Serbian side contradicts the constitution, laws, democracy and minority rights. I have proposed an 11-item draft vision in relation to Article 7 on how to organize the problem of the Serb community in Kosovo. The draft vision I propose does not discriminate against anyone and will be evaluated by moderators.
