Dragan Cović, leader of the HDZ, the largest Croatian party in Bosnia and Herzegovina, rejected the proposal to form a new coalition to overcome the government crisis in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Rejecting the DAP’s proposal to form a new coalition, Kovic said that their partnership with Coalition 8 would not change and that the coalition process was over for them. Speaking to the Klix.ba portal, Covic said: “I think we have enough capacity and I can give a clear answer to your question that there is no need for a negotiation process. We have finished negotiations and we have partners and we need to establish our partnership at the government level in the Federation of BiH.
Kovic said that the High Representative could make a decision, but it would be short-term, and that a permanent solution would only be possible through a constitutional amendment.
