The Kosovo Women Achievers Awards Ceremony was organized by the office of Emilija Rexipe, Deputy Prime Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights in Kosovo.
“Kosovo is proud of you!” The ceremony, which was organized under the slogan “Our Lady of Ngo”, was held in cooperation with a women’s non-governmental organization. At the ceremony, 50 women from all communities in Kosovo were awarded “Crown of Success” awards for their contributions to sports, culture, art and various fields.
Award recipients included Zumrut Suleiman, Anisa Rachit-Globoder, Mileha Hodaverdi Gutic, Fatemeh Hoxa, Shukran Verchevka, Sevgi Karavan, Sunay Bausch, Hurmut Celina, Esin Kaymakci and Ergil Georgialo.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister for Minorities and Human Rights Emilija Rexipe stated that these awards are given to outstanding Kosovo women for their contributions in many areas and stated that Kosovo women are the mainstay and warmth of every home.
