Noting that his country has been of the same opinion since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said, “Serbia may impose sanctions on Russia, but this will cause irreparable harm.” He said.
Dacic noted that if the Serbian people and economy come under great pressure, and if the price is paid, sanctions may be imposed on Russia. He said.
Reminding that the trade volume between Serbia and Russia ranges from 2 to 3 billion dollars, Dacic drew attention to the fact that the volume of trade between countries sanctioning Russia has increased more than ever.
Recalling that Serbia supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, Dacic noted that they also support UN resolutions on this issue.
