An anti-war demonstration was held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.
The Assembly of Russian Democrats led the demonstration in Republic Square.
The demonstrators held banners reading “Peace to Ukraine, Freedom to Russia”, stressing that the war in Ukraine has destroyed thousands of lives and forced millions of people to emigrate.
The demonstrators also marched towards the Russian Embassy in Belgrade with the slogans “No to war”, “We are Russia, not Putin”, “Russia without Putin” and “Peace to Ukraine, freedom to Russia”.
The police set up barriers in front of the embassy and prevented the demonstrators from approaching the building.
