Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, second in the men’s world ranking, has withdrawn from the Canadian Masters Open because he needs some rest.
According to the announcement made on the website of the tournament, Christopher Obanks, ranked 32 in the world, will compete at the main table instead of the 36-year-old Djokovic.
After being named the male tennis player with 23 Grand Slam wins, Djokovic has 4 Canadian Open titles.
The Canadian Masters Open will be held from August 7-13.
