Milorad Dodik, the president of Republika Srpska, one of the two entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, known for its separatist rhetoric, said war is not an option.

Speaking to RT Balkan, Dodik stated that they were not preparing for war and said, “Give us a chance to live in a country where the constitution applies as it is. If you don’t, we will have to decide not to be part of Bosnia and Herzegovina anymore.” He said.

Pointing out that the Republika Srpska respects the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Constitution, which ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dodik said, “We have come to wonder whether this is useful or not. Why do we respect and defend something that has been destroyed, when we are accused of destroying this destroyed thing.” . He said.
