Dozens of dead flamingos have been found near the town of Missolonghi in southern Greece. It is believed that the animals were electrocuted.
According to Greek media reports, a large number of dead flamingos have been found around Lake Torlida, and an investigation has been opened on this matter.
They are looking at the electric current
It is estimated that flamingos got caught in the electric current by being trapped in the cables.
The authorities, who noted similar incidents frequently, called for the cables to be moved underground.
