The Presidency Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the draft resolution on preventing attacks on the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the institutions of Republika Srpska, one of the two entities in the country.

The Presidency called on the authorities to stop and punish every unconstitutional and illegal step targeting the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The decision was rejected by members of the Serbian Council Zeljka Cvijanovic, which was supported by members of the Croatian and Bosnian Council.

The Presidency Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in one of its resolutions, expressed its “full commitment to the protection of peace, tolerance, justice, shared life, human rights and fundamental freedoms of the citizens and people of Bosnia and Herzegovina” and called for and asked for an end to ultimatums, separatist policies and attacks against the state and institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, decisions are taken unanimously in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the absence of consensus, decisions can also be implemented with the approval of two members of the Council.
