According to the statement made by the Bulgarian Prime Minister, during the meeting between Academic Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bulgaria Aylin Itcuk, the two countries agreed to hold a regional round table meeting to try to help solve the most pressing problems of investors in northeastern Bulgaria.
Turkish companies, which are among the largest employers in this part of the country in the round table, are expected to be the most active. Representatives of the Ministries of Education, Economy, Labor and Social Policy will be invited to the meeting, as well as local authorities. the meeting The focus will be on vocational training and human capital development for the industry in the region by increasing the professional competence of employees.
The two discussed the main challenges faced by the Turkish business community in Bulgaria and the possibilities to overcome them. Topics of discussion included the visa regime, shortage of skilled workers, and complex procedures for importing workers from third countries. Ambassador Itcock expressed the interest of the Turkish business community to participate in the modernization of the Bulgarian military industry.
Academician Denkov and his guest discussed one of the main priorities of the Bulgarian government, which is to reduce illegal immigration. The Turkish side committed itself to active cooperation to reduce the flow of migrants to Bulgaria. The Prime Minister also promised that he will look for ways to facilitate the transit of Turkish citizens who pass through our country, which is particularly concentrated in the summer months.
