Education has been reported to have been suspended following bomb threats at several schools in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the Sarajevo Canton’s Interior Ministry statement, emails were sent in the morning about bombings in several schools, students being sent home and their education halted.
It was indicated in the statement that the police conducted disciplined and detailed studies in the schools, and that the incident was reported to the Sarajevo County Public Prosecutor’s Office and the necessary measures were taken.
In the statement, which called on residents of Sarajevo to remain calm and patient, it was noted that the bomb threat was also directed at the Sarajevo Municipal Court and some college buildings.
Bomb threats had been made several times in Sarajevo before, but they were without foundation.
