EU Commissioner for Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has received the status of a candidate country, deserves to be part of the European Union.
Varhelii attended the high-level political forum in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was attended by members of the People’s Assembly and the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and representatives of the entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also noting that Bosnia and Herzegovina showed at today’s forum that it is ready for the EU accession process, Kristo said: “We also received a clear message from the European Union that Bosnia and Herzegovina belongs to the Union.
