The European Union’s Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo is discussing increasing patrols in the north of the country.
It was learned that the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo would increase the number of patrols in the north due to the injury of a Serb citizen by the Kosovo police.
EULEX, which carries out mobile reconnaissance patrols in shifts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, has also established a police unit for foot patrols in Zvecan, north of Mitrovica, and a police unit made up of reserve forces in Leposavic and Zubin Potok.
Meanwhile, the Kosovo police dismissed four officials over the incident in which a Kosovo Serb was injured by gunfire in the north.
Then came the reactions from the international factor.
Northern Kosovo has been tense for the past year, hence the need for political solutions to overcome these situations.
