The EU continues to send clear messages to the parties that Kosovo and Serbia must implement all the articles of the agreement reached in Ohrid, North Macedonia on 18 March.
Speaking to RTV21 about Serbia’s vote against Kosovo in the Council of Europe, EU spokesperson Zoe Moletiere said: “As agreed by the parties in the implementation facility in Ohrid, in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, all clauses of the agreement are valid, in good faith and independent of the other. Waits implement it.”
Chief negotiators failed to reach an agreement in Brussels on April 4 and talks are ongoing. For this reason, the leaders are expected to discuss the issue at the high-level meeting to be held on May 2,” he said, stressing that the two parties should not impose any preconditions while the negotiations continue.
Muletier also added that both parties must give something in order to get something in return.
