Flight instructor Ljubisha Aramanda and her 21-year-old daughter Andreja perished in a single-engine plane crash in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accident occurred near Kozarska Dubica. Contact is lost with the father-daughter Champion 7GCBC Citabria upper-wing aircraft at Dubica. In the search and rescue operations conducted in the area, the wreckage of the plane that fell was found in the square in the residential area.
Flight instructor Ljubisha Aramanda and her daughter Andreja, 21, were announced dead at the scene.
The Crimean accident teams in Bosnia and Herzegovina have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
Also used by army aviation
The Citabria has been used for training purposes by the Turkish Land Forces for many years. Tailback planes have wooden wings and fabric overlays. The planes used by the Army Aviation were later handed over to the Turkish Aviation Association, and then the planes were donated to flying clubs for aviation enthusiasts.
