Balkans | First aid was delivered from Western Thrace to the earthquake zone in Turkey to the concerned authorities

The money raised in the aid campaign announced yesterday by the Western Thrace Student Union (BATÖB) was immediately delivered to those in need.

After earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6, which affected 10 provinces in Turkey and occurred with a difference of 9 hours, many formations in Western Thrace asked for help.

BATÖB, which is one of them, has delivered the money collected as a result of its advocacy to those in need without wasting time.

In the statement made by BATÖB, it was mentioned that a total of 126,610.09 TL was transferred, of which 2,340 EUR (47,133,14 TL) and 79,476,95 TL, were transferred to AFAD.

In addition, it was indicated that after the first donations, donations will continue until February 12, while those who wish to donate in euros can donate in cash, and those who want to donate in Turkish lira by depositing money in the relevant account. Apart from that, it is confirmed that the advisory board campaign can also be supported.
