Onur Lök, President of the Turkish Youth Club (TGK), made remarks about the 2nd Ordinary General Assembly process.
Speaking about the activities carried out in the past four years, Onur Lok stated that the General Assembly process will end at the end of July and TGK will continue on its way in the new period.
TGK President Onur Lok made the following statements in his statement:
Dear members of the North Macedonian Turkish Community, We established the Turkish Youth Club as a group of Turkish youth on July 1, 2019, exactly 4 years ago. This flame in Gostivar has lit every corner of our country in a short time, we have established 18 organizations since our foundation, we have reached wherever there are young Turks, we have established a large network of more than 800 members all over the country. We have carried out more than 300 activities at the local and public level with the coordination and organizations that we have created. We organized conferences, academies, seminars, sports tournaments and youth camps to develop our youth spiritually and physically.
We cooperated with youth organizations inside and outside the country and became a member of the National Youth Council. We offer scholarships to nearly 50 undergraduate students through the Mentoring Incentive Scholarships. We published Hourglass Magazine, where our young people could showcase their ideas and talents. In order to be with the oppressed and the victims, we have sent truckloads of supplies to those in need and earthquake victims. We’ve implemented these activities, which we’ve listed as a few of the things we’ve done in the last 4 years, side by side. The activities that we suspended because of the General Assembly process will continue at the same pace after the process.
In the past months, we have started the process of the second Ordinary General Assembly in accordance with the TGK regulation. Our process started with the local general assemblies and will end with the second ordinary general assembly. The new President and Central Executive Council who will be elected under the process of our General Assembly, which will end at the end of July, will carry this torch forward with greater success. May the process of our General Assembly, which we have put together under the motto “Here is the Organization, Here is the President,” be useful.
