It was announced that the general elections in Greece will be held on May 21.
Greece In his statement to the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated that 50 rounds of cabinet meetings have been held since the summer of 2019.
Referring to the steps taken and the difficulties encountered during the nearly 4-year period of New Democracy’s rule, Mikotakis noted that the elections will be held on May 21, at the end of the four-year period.
Prime Minister Mitsotakis stated that if the elections reach the second round, the second round will be held in July.
The New Democracy Party, led by Mitsotakis, came to power alone in the July 2019 general elections with 39.85 percent of the vote.
