Due to the expected cold weather and snow prevailing across Greece, it has been decided that distance education in primary and secondary schools will be conducted in some areas tomorrow.
And according to the statement issued by the Greek Meteorological Department, snowfall is expected in the Attica region, the island of Erepos and central Greece today and tomorrow. The statement stated that the thickness of snow in the highlands could reach 60 centimeters.
And the Ministry of Education’s statement stated that face-to-face education is not possible due to cold weather conditions and the expectation of snowfall, and distance education will be held in primary and secondary schools tomorrow.
It has been noted that the Attica region is among the regions where face-to-face training is suspended for one day due to snowfall and adverse weather conditions.
Heavy traffic action
And in the announcement of the civil defense units, a call was made to citizens, especially in the North Al-Ateeqi region, not to go out to walk except for compulsory cases.
It was mandatory to have chains for those watching in traffic.
The Ministry of Development and Investment announced that shops in North Attica will not open tomorrow due to heavy snowfall forecasts.
