Greece continues to drag refugees to death. Fifty people, including women, children and the elderly, who have been stranded on a Greek island for nine days, are appealing for help. Drowned father and daughter thrown into the sea by the Greeks.

The nine-day wait for refugees fleeing the Syrian city of Deir Ezzor on an island on the Meric River is getting more dangerous as the weather cools. The refugees described their experience to an NGO that had access to them, and said they were subjected to inhumane treatment by the Greek mercenaries. One witness said he barely saved his wife and children because of the fast flow of the river and the thick water grass that prevented him from swimming.

Can’t go on any longer in the cold

Non-governmental organizations indicated that the refugees stranded on the island, including the sick, the elderly, women and children, were in a very bad condition. And they stressed that it is difficult for these people to bear any more, without clean water, food, blankets or heating equipment in sub-zero temperatures at night.
