Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will visit Alexandroupoli on Friday 31 March.
According to local Greek media reports, within the framework of the visit, Prime Minister Mitsotakis will attend the signing ceremony for the respective project to extend the second 35-kilometer section of steel fence built on the Turkish-Greek border.
Speaking to ERT, Minister Theodorikakos stated that Prime Minister Mitsotakis will also be present at the signing ceremony. Theodorikakos added that the project in question will be financed from the budget in the coming months and that there is also the possibility of financing from European funds.
