According to the decision of the Electricity and Water Regulatory Authority (KEVR) of Bulgaria, from July 1, 2023, household electricity will increase by 4.47 percent on average for one year.
Electricity increased by 4.24 percent for subscribers of Electrohol Company (formerly ÇEZ Company), 3.78 percent for subscribers of EVN Company and 5.43 percent for subscribers of Energo Pro Company.
Thus, starting tomorrow, electricity subscribers in western and southeastern Bulgaria will pay 19 strenki per kilowatt-hour, while subscribers in the northeastern part of the country will pay about 20 strenki per kilowatt-hour.
Rates of rise in central system heating prices and hot water heating prices are very low, ranging from 0.05 percent for subscribers of Sofia Central Heating Company to 0.48 percent for subscribers of Razgrad Central System Heating Company.
