Mustafa Karadi, Chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (HÖH / DPS), whose members are mostly Turks and Muslims in Bulgaria, issued a congratulatory message to members and supporters of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the founding of the party.
The content of the message posted on the party’s website was as follows:
Dear HÖH members and sympathizers, dear friends!
HÖH is 33 years old today. I would like to congratulate you on your anniversary and wish you to always be together in our common mission to protect peace and democracy, protect the unity of our Motherland, stability in the region, and guarantee the rights and freedoms of all Bulgarian citizens. Equal rights in Europe and the world.
We have confidence that we are building democracy and a new Bulgarian history in Bulgaria.
We derive this self-confidence from the experience we have and the successes we have achieved over time. We had the will, the strength and the courage to oppose the state machine in the name of freedom to live our names and our religion. We were not afraid of arms, because human rights, freedoms and dignity are stronger than anything else.
Realizing the power of unity and just demands, we have been walking our way with the HÖH flag for over 30 years.
This anniversary is also an occasion to honor the memory of everyone who paved the way for democracy and everyone involved in forming the MRF.
HÖH founder, Dr. We would like to express our gratitude to Ahmet Doğan and all those involved in the process of laying its foundations, and we wish him good health and many successes.
Today we are once again facing the nightmare of war near our borders, our society is divided, dissent and hate are the main priority and the model for most political formations. Democracy is in retreat, and the prospects for the future look increasingly dire. But we remain responsible, wherever we are, in protecting the foundations of democracy and based on Euro-Atlantic values.
We find strength in our biographies, in our history, and we believe that without peace, democracy is in danger.
In these days when we are facing the biggest challenges of recent years, we call for uniting all efforts, as this is the only way to deal with the crisis and problems.
The Human Rights Front is a constructive political force that works to establish dialogue in the People’s Assembly, albeit at the expense of concessions, and to elect a regular government that solves the real problems of the people. Despite everything, the civil rights movement is still preparing for elections where Bulgarian citizens will decide which political forces and how many deputies will be represented in the next People’s Assembly.
Dear MÖH members, dear friends, I wish you and your loved ones health, luck, well-being and prosperity! Let’s be responsible, be strong together, never lose faith that we will overcome all difficulties and tests together!
