Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti met with representatives of Turkish companies that have investments in the country.
According to the statement made by the Cabinet Office, Kurti received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çalik Holding Company Ahmet Çalik, Honorary Chairman of Limak Holding Nihat Özdemir and representatives of the Kosovo Electricity Distribution Services (KEDS) at the Cabinet Office.
During the meeting, they discussed the energy situation in the country and the relations with KEDS to provide continuous energy to citizens.
Speaking about Kosovo’s export figures in recent years, Kurti said, “Kosovo is a country where production and exports have increased. This is why energy has become more important for businesses.” Use phrases.
Turkish businessmen have also emphasized that the companies they run are in the service of the Kosovo state and that the common goal is the regular supply and sustainable distribution of energy.
Kosovo Electricity Distribution Company KEDS, owned by Çalık Holding and Limak, has been carrying out electricity distribution activities throughout Kosovo with the exclusive right since May 8, 2013.
