Egon Syla, the leader of the search and rescue team, who went from Kosovo to support the earthquake in Rourkea, where the earthquake disaster occurred, said that the group consists of more than 30 people who specialize in such situations, and that they also have dogs for search and rescue.
“We flew in yesterday, but we still couldn’t get to the area where we’re going to intervene because of the influx. We have two search and rescue teams in town, and we also have search and rescue dogs. I hope we can help in any way we can.” He said.
The search and rescue team consists of experienced soldiers in the search and rescue operations of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK).
