Kosovo President Fyuza Osmani visited the municipalities of Klina, Skenderai and Mitrovica after floods caused by heavy rains.
In his meeting with the mayors, Osmani affirmed that he has been in constant contact with the security services since last night, and in this context, he expressed his appreciation for the determination of the municipal structures and emergency institutions.
Stating that the central institutions will provide maximum support to the municipalities affected by the floods, Osmani said, “I would like to thank the Kosovo Security Force, the Kosovo Police, the firefighters, the municipal authorities and everyone who is ready to provide assistance to the citizens in the most dangerous areas.”
President Osmani also emphasized solidarity by expressing that the safety of citizens’ lives and property is an absolute priority.
