Kosovar Prime Minister Albin Kurti refused to meet with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, who will travel to Kosovo today as part of his Balkan tour.
Kosovar Prime Minister Kurti said he could only meet Rama at the joint ministerial meeting of Kosovo and Albania.
Kurti said: “I am in contact with Prime Minister Edi Rama. I know that you will visit Kosovo. I asked him to hold the joint ministerial meeting and sign the planned agreements within the framework of his visit to Kosovo. If he does not accept, there will be no further meeting.”
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama did not comment on Kurti’s remarks.
Rama said only: “I will give the necessary explanations in Pristina.”
