Twelve-year-old Benjamin Mihanović, who lives in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, sells tea to help those affected by the magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, which has been described as the “disaster of the century.”
Mihanović, who collects aid by selling tea in his small stall in the capital’s Dobrinja district, made the statement to an AA reporter.
Mihanović, an eighth-grade student, stated that he had seen the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria on TV, and said: “Then the idea came to open the booth. I also called my friends and offered them to hand over the money we collected to the Pomozi.ba charity here or to buy the necessary items for the children.” He said.
He started his own aid campaign on Saturday, Mihanovic said, “I have collected 100 euros so far. On the first day, I bought items for children with the money I collected, and on the second day I put the aid I collected in an envelope and took it to Pomozi.ba.” He said.

Mihanović stated that she felt very sorry for the children and babies affected by the earthquake, “Some people don’t want to drink tea, they just helped.” Use his statements.
