Children played games to the fullest in the events organized for the Turkish soldier in Kosovo, April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
The Turkish soldier, who has been serving in the NATO Peace Corps in Kosovo since 1999, KFOR, participated in the events held in the garden of the presidency of the delegation of Turkey’s representative, Sultan Murad, on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
Students all over Kosovo showed great interest in the celebrations that took place for 24 years this year. Turkish flag hats, flags and kites were presented to children at the celebrations held in Prizren, headed by the delegation of Turkey’s representative Sultan Murad in Kosovo.
Mehmetchik, who participated in events where traditional meals were also served, played games such as tug-of-war, basketball and volleyball with children, and flew kites. Gifts were given to the children as part of the activities that would last throughout the day.
