Croatian President Zoran Milanovic said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has begun to distance himself politically from Russia.
Referring to Vucic’s remarks that Crimea and Donbass are Ukrainian provinces, the Croatian leader said, “Vucic is a unique player and he understood that Russia would recognize Kosovo.”
Milanović said that the Serb and Croat leaders met in Davos immediately afterwards, and said, “The Serbs are the closest people to us in terms of history and culture. It should be some kind of cooperation.”
