Determined deputies after the general elections held in Greece on June 25 were sworn in at a ceremony in Parliament.
At the swearing-in ceremony in the Hellenic Parliament, 300 deputies, who are entitled to enter Parliament in the June 25 elections, took the oath and solemnly assumed office.
At the ceremony, the majority of the deputies pressed their hands to the Bible, the deputies of the Turks from Western Thrace to the Koran, and some preferred to take a civil oath.
After the general elections held on June 25 in the country, 8 political parties were represented in Parliament, 158 from the New Democracy Party, 48 from the Radical Left Alliance (SYRIZA), 32 from the Panhellian Socialist Movement (PASOK), 20 from the party KKE, 12 Spartans, 12 Greek Party MPs, 12 Resolution Party MPs, 10 Victory Party MPs and 8 Freedom Watch MPs are eligible to enter Parliament.
