The Foreign Ministry reports that the Permanent Representative of Bulgaria to NATO, Nikolai Melkov, has presented his letters of credit to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
After the ceremony, Ambassador Nikolai Melkov spoke about the difficult situations NATO faces and said that the Allies should work to strengthen the Union and increase its defense opportunities.
According to the words of Nikolai Melkov, the EU and NATO should be in synergy more than ever, and additions should be made to the Union’s strategic documents, the NATO Strategic Concept and the EU’s Strategic Compass.
