With the Young Mufti Organization of the Mufti of Xanthi, the “Youth Workshop on January 29” was held at the Şahin Karaca Aichi Cultural Center with great participation.

The “January 29 Youth Workshop”, which was attended by nearly 350 young people from various Xanthi villages, was held on Saturday, January 28 at the Şahin Karaca Aichi Cultural Center.

At the event, the head of the Western Thrace Minority Alumni Association Dr. Hossein Baltaji, Editor-in-Chief of Millet Newspaper, Chairman of the Canar Cengiz Omar Association, and Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, spoke as speakers.

The speeches that were delivered mentioned the events of January 29, from yesterday to the present, and their effects on our society, and the importance of the spirit of unity and solidarity.

In his speech, Hussein Baltashi, head of the Western Minority Alumni Association in Thrace, stressed that there are differences between the pressures that were made in the past and the pressures that were made today, but the pressures are still there.

Cengiz Omar, editor-in-chief of the Milliyet newspaper and chairman of the Canar Association, summed up in his speech how it came from January 29 to the present, and emphasized that the Turks of Western Thrace continue their struggle for survival in the same way. They are as dynamic as they have been in the past, and the biggest proof of that is the youth that are here today.

Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, also took the floor with youthful enthusiasm. In his speech, Mufti Trumpa emphasized the importance of working in unity and solidarity. Pointing out that this spirit of unity and solidarity resides in the spirit of struggle in the past, Müftü Trampa stressed that our struggle for existence will gain more meaning as long as this atmosphere of unity is preserved and preserved.

Explaining that he attaches great importance to the youth within the framework of the activities of the Mufti, the Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa stated that the work for the youth will increase in the future and that they are always open to the suggestions of the youth.

The Turkish youth of Western Thrace showed great interest in the event. After the speeches, different pictures of the events of January 29 were distributed to the youth and they were asked to write their feelings on the back of the pictures. Some young people were invited to the microphone and expressed their feelings about the picture that was given to them. The Young Turks of Western Thrace proved once again that they stand by their messages.

After the event, Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Tramba made a statement to the members of the press, emphasizing the importance of this feeling that they are experiencing with the youth today and thanking everyone who contributed.
