Montenegrin Prime Minister Dritan Abazović has proposed that Montenegro host the next round of talks on the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
“We are ready to contribute and support the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo,” Abazovic said, adding that Montenegro has a conciliatory role in the region.
Apazovic said that Montenegro has excellent relations with all neighboring countries and is ready for any assistance, including logistical support.
The Prime Minister of Montenegro stated that Montenegro is not part of the dialogue, but the EU proposal is a good solution that benefits both Serbia and Kosovo.
Abazović stressed that both Serbia and Kosovo should respect the specific provisions of the annex, including that Serbia should not delay Kosovo’s accession to international organizations and that Kosovo establish a federation of municipalities with a Serb majority.
