Erdogan started his speech by greeting the members of the delegation and the participants, and said that they held bilateral meetings with President Radev and then between the delegations.
President Erdogan expressed his recent meeting with his counterpart Radev during the European Political Group summit held in Prague last October, and said that they reviewed the development and deepening of relations between the two neighboring countries in today’s meetings.

Our cooperation will develop further with the completion of the modernization of the border gates on the Bulgarian side, especially the strengthening of the food inspection infrastructure.

President Erdoğan once again thanked President Radev for his support to Bulgarian businessmen whose investments exceeded 2.5 billion Euros, and continued his words as follows:
“Opportunities for cooperation in the field of energy security were discussed on our agenda, and we discussed this matter among ourselves. In this regard, we directed the necessary instructions to our Minister of Energy. How can we help in this and how can we meet Bulgaria’s request? Our Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources will also take the necessary steps.
