North Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski met with Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Szaka.
Today, President Stevo Pendarovski received Mrs. Ulita Šaška, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, who is on an official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia.
During the meeting, they expressed their satisfaction with the continuous political dialogue and the comprehensive development of bilateral relations between the two countries, which passed thirty years since the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.
Opinions and information on the bilateral screening process between the two countries were exchanged with the European Union.
It was indicated during the meeting that the two countries, as NATO allies, are ready to enrich their mutual cooperation in order to make a more effective contribution to security in the region and beyond.
After the last round of negotiations in Ohrid, President Pendarovski and Minister Xhachka focused on the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and also discussed the situation in the region and developments in the broader region in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
