“Investment exchange in the field of high technologies and high-value-added production is a positive trend in cooperation between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan,” said Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, at the meeting organized by the Bulgarian-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Baku, where he met with representatives of the business world.
The management of the organization stated that the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Sofia last year at the invitation of Romain Radev gave a strong impetus to deepening investment exchanges between the two countries. Projects related to the automotive sector, unmanned aerial vehicles, satellite technologies and high-tech methods of recycling waste oils have emerged as promising areas of partnership.
Radev noted that the highest level of active political dialogue and excellent bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan form a solid foundation for deepening cooperation in the field of economy. According to the chairman’s statement, the possibility of long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships exists, and companies should actively exploit these opportunities. Radev stated that countries that develop innovation and high technology have gained influence on a global scale, so it is important to encourage joint ventures in these areas.
President Radev is visiting Azerbaijan to attend the 10th Baku Global Forum organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center in Baku.
